About Me
Having worked professionally as a Fullstack Developer for 2 years on small startup teams to a large F500 company, I’ve learned a lot about the industry and honed my skills in several programming languages, frameworks, and technologies. My experience includes developing networking automation solutions, implementing complex micro-segmentation algorithms, building intuitive and scalable consumer-facing applications, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
In my previous role as a Fullstack Engineer at BoomNation, my first task was redesigning the mobile app's login and signup form. I utilized our user data showing users had a high probability of not completing signups, I implemented a short form with skippable fields, resulting in a 25% increase in signups and a 40% increase in profile completions. Additionally, I refactored the payment pipeline of the self-checkout flow to utilize a pricing tier display, leading to a 19% growth in partner accounts.
Before BoomNation, I worked as a contractor for MunichRe, a top 100 Global Insurance company. I led the development of a sophisticated feature that leveraged the APIs for vCenter, NSX, and CosmosDB to clean up the environments of network segments and VMs. This feature reduced the time spent manually clearing each environment from several days to less than 30 minutes.
Outside of work, one of my passions is landscape photography. In fact, the pictures here were taken by me while traveling Europe with my sister after college. I love landscape photography because being out in nature and seeing how beautiful the world is helps me ground myself and appreciate life.
